How Software Works - A Detailed View

How it works section of the software provided to let one know that how to perform conversion without any effort once the software is downloaded and installed. Follow the entire product guide to get an overall preview of conversion process.


Step 1

Launch the product by clicking on Start Button to start the migration process. Firstly Go to Start menu » Programs » and open application. Intial screen comes up, click on OK button to proceed.

The process of conversion screen comes up, click on Open button to proceed.

Step 3

Main screen comes up with different options to set priorities. It contains.

  • Add file (use when one NSF file at a time is to be added).
  • Add folder (use when entire NSF files are to be added).
  • Remove file (use when added NSF files are to be removed).

Click on Add file and browse the desired nsf file:

Once files are selected from particular location then the path of browsed NSF file will be detailed on the software screen. Now click on Open button for saving the conversion output:

There is an option Maintain Folder Hierarchy, if you want to keep all folders & sub-folders seuqence then select Yes else No:

Now select desired location and click OK.

After choose the destination path, software will display the full path of the selected location.

To maintain the folder hierarchy then choose the option Yes after converting the nsf file to mbox format. If you do not want to maintain folder hierarchy during conversion then click on No.

After that start the conversion process to . Click on the Export button.

Step 10

While converting NSF file software will show you the following details:

  • Current Folder - This will display the current folder name that is being processed by the software.
  • Folder Count - This will help you know how many folders are being processed.
  • Email Count - This will help you know how many emails from the folder are being processed.
  • Migrated File - This option indicates the name of the NSF file which is being converted into MBOX format.

Step 11

When the process is completed, you'll get a message of completion. Confirm the location where output file is stored and Click OK:

Now select the destination location for storing the converted file format at the time of conversion
